Denny Bradbury lives in Buckinghamshire, England, with her husband. Her interests include poetry (writing it, reading it, sharing it and collecting poetry books). She also has great enthusiasm for history, theatre and is passionate about the sea and the countryside. She has a daughter and a son, a constant joy. Her earlier careers include Air Traffic Control and charity manager. She obtained a degree in history from Bristol University. She is a Reiki Master and Teacher. She writes poetry, novels, fairy stories and short dramas.
This is her third book of poetry but the first to concentrate on the Christian year. The poems take the reader through the church year starting, as always, with Advent and progressing through each significant celebration returning once more to Advent. There are also poems on saints for whom the author holds special regard. She is a regular attendee at her village church and visits cathedrals whenever she can. She finds the history and spirit of these amazing buildings inspirational.
