They included incredibly popular juvenile fiction series such as The Bobsey Twins, The Hardy Boys, and Nancy Drew. To create so many titles, he developed the Stratemeyer Syndicate, a book-packaging technique utilizing several long-running series featuring the same characters in a formulaic structure. The Stratemeyer Syndicate was the first book packager to focus on children's literature. This new edition is dedicated to Judy Lauder.
