The purpose and record of their travels are documented in the volumes of the Pentateuch (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers); and Deuteronomy, this book being the fifth volume of the set, which Moses wrote during their journeys. Prophecies of the Lord Jesus Christ is ever present and demonstrated in the many ordinances, judgments, and statutes the LORD God commanded Israel to obey at the direction of Moses! Now the time is come that the children of Israel is as ready as they shall ever be to enter the land of promise. But the LORD God has instructed Moses that he shall not go with them. And that Joshua, the personal assistant to Moses shall lead the children of Israel into the land, after Moses is dead. Deuteronomy 34:5 through 34:7 - So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And he (the LORD) buried him (Moses) in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulcher unto this day. And Moses was an hundred and twenty (120) years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
